From Jim Dubois, FireSmart Director and other Board Members of the LECA Board:
A BIG THANK YOU to all the volunteers who showed up for the FireSmart Cleanup event on Saturday July 9th. We cannot thank you enough!

Al & Kathy, Julio, Andy, Linda, Regan, Kevin & Karen, Lynn & Dave, Kevin, Deb & Sonny, Ed & Lesley, Jim, Betty & Larry, Donna, Monique, Clint, Dean & Laurie, Jane & Dave, Terry & Barb, Bill & Vicki, Lola, Stacey & Keith If I missed anyone  (thank you) but these were the names registered on the volunteer list.

As a group we completely filled 2 Bins (provided by Dump Runz) with debris, brush, overgrown and dead trees - all part of FireSmart.  Most importantly we have made our community safer from potential fires as we approach the high temperatures of July and August.

WATER OUTAGE & BOIL WATER ADVISORY EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
UPDATE: June 10, 2022  @ 18:00

We're pleased to announce water service has been restored to the Canadian Lakeview Estates Community. Some cloudiness and fluctuations in pressure may occur as the system returns to normal, but this will resolve itself over the course of the next few hours.

Please remember, the Boil Water Advisory is in effect until testing has confirmed that  water is safe to drink. We will advise resident at that time.

Once again, we regret this disruption in service, and thank you for your understanding and patience.

VOLUNTEER BEACH CLEAN UP
June 4, 2022

On behalf of the L.E.C.A Board of Directors we are so grateful to everyone who volunteered for our 1’st Beach Clean-Up this year held last Saturday (June 4th). Thank you to everyone who gifted LECA their “Free Time” and energy and making a difference by choosing to help.
It was deemed a success in a number of ways:
A) Beach weeded, raked and cleaned up. Over 5 truckloads of debris collected and delivered to    our local land-fill.
B) Community camaraderie built and shared among new and existing LECA members.
Lots of friendly conversations (and laughter) over coffee & donuts.
C) This has certainly gone a long way to fulfill our obligation on the Easement Agreement.
We recognize not everyone could attend on Saturday ( but there will be other designated beach clean-up days) so hopefully you can sign up for one of those later dates. Also thank you to others who volunteer their times in other ways for our community ( certainly not meant to take away from any of those community members).
